Getting to Bend
By Air
Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM) is the closest airport, about 15 minutes from Bend.
Portland International Airport (PDX) is the nearest international airport, about 3 hours from Bend.
By Car
If you’re driving from Portland, expect about a 3-hour drive.
You can drive over Mount Hood, a beautiful route where lush forests fade into high desert with stunning views along the way.
For a less mountainous drive, you can also take I-5 and head east through Sisters.
Getting Around Bend
Rental cars are recommended if you plan to explore Bend’s outdoor activities or surrounding areas.
Uber and Lyft are widely available and are a great option if you’re staying nearby or plan to stay mostly in town.
Guests staying at Tetherow Resort will have access to a complimentary shuttle that can take guests into town and to the airport.

We've reserved a room block at Tetherow Resort (61240 Skyline Ranch Rd, Bend, OR 97702), conveniently located right next door to our wedding reception venue.
Staying at Tetherow gives you access to the resort's on-site amenities, including golf, pools, walking paths and dining, as well as a complimentary shuttle to activities within five miles. It's also just a short drive from downtown Bend and where we will be staying for the weekend.

Hotel Peppertree (1082 SW Yates Drive, Bend, Oregon 97702) is another great option located near Tetherow. We’ve reserved another room block there for guests who prefer another option.

Airbnb & Other Hotel Options
We love staying in Airbnbs when visiting Bend, and there are many great options at a variety of price points. The River West neighborhood is our favorite area, offering walkable access to restaurants, coffee shops and spots along Galveston Avenue. It’s also a short walk to Drake Park, Old Bend and Bend Brewing Company where we will host our welcome party on Friday evening.
